Alcatraz Appoints Harjeet Randhawa as Vice President of Hardware Engineering

Alcatraz, the leader in facial biometric authentication for physical access, today announced the appointment of Harjeet Randhawa as Vice President of Hardware Engineering. In this role, Harjeet will be responsible for leading Alcatraz’s hardware engineering team, driving product architecture, and advancing the company’s mission to deliver innovative, secure, and scalable access control biometric solutions.

Harjeet brings more than 25 years of experience in electrical design engineering with expertise spanning IoT systems, high-speed networking, servers, and biotechnology instruments. He has held leadership roles at 10x Genomics, Pacific Biosciences, Verizon, and Sensity, where he successfully drove multiple product launches and complex engineering programs. Previously, he served as Sr. Director of Hardware Engineering at Alcatraz, where he played a pivotal role in the development of the company’s facial authentication platform.
